An insider said: “She’s really excited to be in the studio. She’s got a lot of ideas she’s working on.

“She doesn’t know if the album will be pop or more dance, but it’s a case of getting in the studio and seeing what works at the moment.

“The album won’t be out until next year – it’s very early days.”

Paige’s reps confirmed she was back in the studio today and said ‘she’s really enjoying it’.

The blonde bombshell, 22, first showed off her impressive lungs when she made it to the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2012 by singing Birdy’s Skinny Love.

The Love Island star also dated music sensation Lewis Capaldi between 2014 and 2016 after meeting at college in Motherwell.

During her time in the Love Island villa, the talented Islander performed Show Me Love during Love Island’s talent show.

During the series, Paige mentioned her famous ex and fans think Lewis’ smash hit single Someone You Loved is about her – but Lewis begs to differ.

At the 2020 Brit Awards, he said:”Contrary to popular belief, a lot of people think this song is about my ex-girlfriend, who you can now see every night on Love Island.”

He continued: “It’s actually about my grandmother who has sadly passed away a few years ago.

“I hope to god that ITV don’t contact her to be on a reality TV dating show.”

Following their split, devastated Lewis channelled his heartache into hit album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent.

However, the star has previously spoken about his inspiration for the album and said: “I met a lady.

“She was very nice. I loved her. I loved the look of her and I loved how she spoke.

“We dated for a year-and-a-half, then she left me. Then I wrote an album about it and I still think about it every day.”

After their split in 2016, the devastated star channelled his heartbreak into his hit album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent.

However, there’s no hard feelings between the pair and Lewis has insisted that Paige has ‘every right’ to talk about him as he’s made money off songs about her and even texted her to say congratulations after she bagged the £50,000 prize.

Paige has now moved on with 20-year-old semi-professional footballer Finley Tapp. They won over the hearts of the nation by winning the last season of the dating show.

Earlier in the year, Paige was spotted singing club classics on a boozy night out in a local Scottish pub in an unearthed clip.
