LOVE Island bombshell Rebecca Gormley has not been lying about her age – as her birth certificate proves that she is 21-years-old.
Fans of the ITV reality show were convinced that the former Miss Newcastle was lying about her age.
The SunOnline can now confirm that Rebecca was born on April 18 1998 at North Shields General hospital.
Harriet Wright posted on Twitter: “Rebecca and Finley are well suited since theyre both identity frauds claiming to be younger than their actual age of 37.”
Another user joked: “Thought Rebecca pulled Finn for a chat to tell him that she’s lied about her age too.”
While others called to see her birth certificate to prove that her claim is correct.
Since being a bombshell on the show Rebecca has caused drama after she expressed and interest in Callum Jones, 23, Connagh Howard, 27, and Finley Tapp, 20.
While her entrance during the heart-raising challenge left the girl furious as she got close and personal with their men.

She ended up going on dates with Callum and Connor Durman, 25, after she raised their heart rates the most.
However Callum shot down any hopes of a romance in Wednesday night’s episode as he told Rebecca he was happy with Shaughna Phillips, 25.
Rebecca didn’t seem to disappointed as she pursued Connagh and ended up kissing him.
The pair shared a super-flirty exchange, with him telling the 21-year-old model: “When you first came in, I didnt think youd be interested in me at all, to be honest.”
She replied: “Really? You tick every box for me.”
After that, all it took was for him to say: “I think you’re proper fit” and the pair were hooking up on one of the day beds outside.
But her head is set to be turned tonight when new boys Luke Trotman, 22, and Luke Mabbot, 24, enter the villa.
