LOVE Island’s Siannise Fudge has hit back at rumours she’s split from boyfriend Luke Trotman after fans questioned their social media silence.
The 26-year-old reality star took to Instagram to address the claims, telling followers: “Oh and me and Luke are very happy!”
The couple – who hit it off on the winter edition of the ITV2 dating show – regularly keep followers updated on their romance on social media.
But after a few days offline, fans began to question whether or not the pair were still together.
Hitting back at the rumours yesterday, Siannise wrote: “I just wanna get something straight here. I am STILL a human being, if there’s a day or a few days where I don’t feel like posting or I want to take a break that is ok.
“Just because you don’t see it on social media doesn’t mean it isn’t happening guys.”
She added: “Oh and me and Luke are very happy! We’re off to Greece this weekend.”
Earlier on in the day, the couple were spotted out and about in London.
Her defiant post comes weeks after Luke, 23, admitted the couple are discussing their next steps after dating for only five months.
“We’re both at that age now when we’re thinking about marriage and starting a family,” he explained in an interview with the Daily Mail.
“My parents got married at 24 and Siannise’s parents had her when they were 26 and 27.
“That’s definitely something we both want and our main priorities in life. We’re not really interested in fame and money as much.”
On marriage, Luke, who recently threw a extravagant Disney-themed brithday party for Siannise in their home, laughed and said: “I always say it’s her turn to do something next if she wants to propose.”
The pair have been together almost every day since meeting on the dating show.
They originally stayed at Luke’s parents’ home in Luton during lockdown, but were thrilled to move into their own London lovenest last month.
On life after the programme, he went on: “We’ve definitely gotten closer. Since we’ve come out, we’ve gotten better and better.
“We’re still passionately into each other, I don’t know when the honeymoon phase ends.”
He added: “It’s been crazy because in lockdown. We lived with my parents for a bit, there was six of us and it was hectic. We also moved house without even viewing the place, but luckily we lived it.”
