LOVE Islands Malin Andersson has shared a shocking image of her cut face to warn fans about the dangers of domestic abuse.
The 27-year-old revealed the picture, which shows two nasty gashes on her cheek, as she encouraged others to speak out against abuse.
In an emotional post, she wrote: Its only a scratch. Its hardly anything. He wont do it again.
This year I choose self-love. I choose my worth. I choose to put me first. I choose happiness. I choose me.
She continued:I urge you all, if youre experiencing domestic abuse to please know that you are worth everything and more. The best love you can give; is to yourself. @refugecharity @womens_aid.
Malin’s former partner has always denied claims of domestic violence.
The television star who found fame on the second series of Love Island previously shared disturbing images of her bruised body last year when she first spoke out about her experience.
Since leaving the show Malin has become an advocate for body positivity and has won a legion of fans due to her candid Instagram posts.
She often speaks about grief after tragically losing her daughter Consy last year after she was born seven weeks prematurely.
The star lost her dad to skin cancer, before he mother passed away to breast cancer in 2018.
