MEGAN Barton-Hanson has opened up about feeling “like a sack of s***” after a fan spotted her in Tesco and said she looked stunning.

The Love Island star spoke about how she was feeling after being seen in the supermarket, admitting: “I haven’t washed my hair in days.”

Megan has spoken out about her struggles with anxiety after a fan said she looked amazing

She wrote: “This made me smile. I felt like a sack of s**t. I haven’t washed my hair in days. I’m a little down. Things haven’t worked out as planned, the world has been turned upside down!

“My anxiety gets bad when I go places and don’t feel good in myself.

“I get worried people will come up to me and think I’m rude or ignorant because I’m not super happy and this loud person I was perceived to be on TV.”

She added: “But yeah, it may seem shallow but the main takeaway from this is that I probably looked miserable as f*** and like my hair needed a good wash, but a stranger has gone out of their way to say something kind on social media.”

It’s not the first time Megan has opened up about her struggles with mental health and anxiety.

She suffered from anxiety after being bullied by women from her hometown when she worked as a stripper.

The model, 26, fell victim to “negative” comments from females – and says she now prefers to spend her time with men as they’re less “stressful.”

In an interview she said: “I’ve suffered from anxiety in the past – I feel like I’m more of an introvert person like Doctor Alex.”

She said she was worried people would think she was rude if she wasn’t as bubbly as she was on the ITV show because of her anxiety in public

“I’m normally friends with boys; girls tend to come with a lot of drama and politics. Life is stressful enough so usually I just hang around with guys.

“Dancing in the small town where I grew up meant a lot of girls had an opinion so I faced a lot of negativity – I just stepped away from all girls.”

Meanwhile Megan recently celebrated her 26th birthday with a plush party at Raffles in London.

She gave fans a glimpse into the lavish bash on Instagram, which included a huge personalised three-tier cake and a lit-up sign of her name.
