The influencer found wider fame on Love Island where she also met boyfriend Tommy Fury

In the photo, Molly is almost unrecognisable as she slouches in a plastic chair while tucking into her lunch alongside her sister Zoe.

A far cry for the chic designer outfits she is famed for nowadays, Molly is dressed in a large yellow polo shirt and bright red shorts.

She has her blonde hair tied back into a ponytail and looks unimpressed as she gazes up at the camera.

Tagging her sister Zoe, Molly wrote: “This really killed me” alongside crying with laughter emojis.

She added: “Honestly, I still have nightmares about this staff room.”

Molly worked part-time as a lifeguard before she won Miss Teen Herfordshire at the age of 16.

She then found her calling as an Instagram icon, entering the Love Island villa as a fully-fledged influencer shortly after her 20th birthday.

Her stint in the famous villa saw her social media platform go from strength to strength, with the star also finding love with boxer Tommy Fury on the show.

She recently revealed that as a teenager she was terrified of having a “normal job and income” like her police officer parents.

Speaking to Dragons’ Den star Steven Bartlett’s Diary of a CEO podcast, she explained: “Watching my parents have an ordinary life terrified me a bit. It was a bit petrifying this thought of I don’t wanna grow up in this house and when I’m old in my rocking chair and tell my grand kids I had this really ordinary life and ordinary job and ordinary income. I reckon I started feeling that way from around 15.”

BUSINESS MODEL

Molly-Mae attended the fashion retail academy in London for two years with the aim of becoming a fashion buyer for a large business, before relocating to Manchester at 18 after noticing the explosion of fast fashion brands in the city.

Now nearly three years on from her appearance on Love Island, Molly has seen her career as an influencer reach new heights, launched her own fake-tan brand and has also become the creative director of PrettyLittleThing.

The businesswoman is thought to be worth around £2million, with the PLT deal earning her seven figures.

The reality star came under fire for comments she made about her success on the podcast after insisting “we all have the same 24 hours in the day”.

She later issued a statement saying: “I apologise to the people that have been affected negatively or misunderstood the meaning of what I said in the podcast.

“The intentions of the podcast were only ever to tell my story and inspire from my own experience.”
