PREGNANT Dani Dyer has revealed the scary moment she thought she was going into an early labour – before realising she was having Braxton Hicks contractions.
The Love Island star’s due date isn’t for another month, but the false labour pains had her thinking her little one might arrive before the New Year.
Taking to her Instagram story, Dani asked if any of her followers had experienced them too.
She then explained: “Last night I properly experienced those Braxton Hicks contraction things.
“Honestly, there’s so much that goes in to being pregnant. Woah, they were really painful. I was like what’s this, what’s that? But wow. They’re not very nice.”
And she wrote over the top of the video: “I was just laying there like no baby you have a month yet. Getting up and walking around really helped then it settled so I could go back to sleep.”
On Christmas Day, Dani shared a selfie with her boyfriend Sammy Kimmence as they enjoyed their final weeks before becoming a “family of three”.
The 24-year-old, who is expecting her first child in the New Year, cuddled up to her boyfriend for the sweet snap.
Love Island winner Dani looked every inch in love as Sammy, 24, snuggled in from behind and put his arms around her.
Posing in front of the Christmas tree, the mum-to-be pouted while keeping it causal with minimal make-up and her hair tied up in a bun.
She donned a ribbed brown jumper and accessorised with a simple gold chain necklace and sparkling earrings.
The mum-to-be posted the picture on Instagram, gushing that she loved Sammy “forever” to the delight of her followers.
Dani wrote: “Our last Christmas before we become a family of 3. Love you forever.”
On Christmas Eve, Dani revealed that she is “so scared” to give birth as her due date approached in “a month’s time”, in a candid chat on her Instagram story.
The reality star asked her three million followers for “tips” to stop her from feeling overwhelmed at the prospect of welcoming a baby in the New Year.
She explained: “I honestly am so scared now to give birth. Like, knowing in a month’s time there’s going to be a baby here – hopefully if I’m not overdue and stuff – I’m just really scared!
“I just want tips now. I’ve been that sort of person that’s like ‘I’m fine and whatever, giving birth, easy’ but now I’m sitting here like ‘Oh my God’.”
Captioning the video, Dani added that while she is “so excited” for the birth, she is “not great” with pain.
“I’m so excited to finally meet this bubs but I’m so scared now,” she wrote. “I’m not that great with pain.”
Dani revealed that she was pregnant with her first child in July, sharing a baby scan on her social media.
She told fans: “Little bubba can’t believe you are going to be ours.
“Me and Sammy are so excited to start this next chapter in our lives, feel so lucky and grateful.. 2021.”
