SCARLETT Moffatt has lost another presenting job, and this time she’s been replaced by none other than Stacey Solomon.

The former Gogglebox star will no longer be a team captain on Iain Stirling’s ITV2 show CelebAbility.

Scarlett, 29, landed the role in April last year and confirmed the news on Instagram at the time, saying: “I’m so excited, can’t wait to get started today and to meet my team and just to have loads of fun.”

However, it seems Scarlett’s latest job just wasn’t meant to be as Loose Women panellist Stacey will take her place and join boyfriend Joe Swash on the comedy show.

Commenting on the new addition, Love Island narrator Iain said: “She is just brilliant. She is an absolute professional, an absolute charmer and a joy to work with.

“Its been a real honour actually. TV royalty!”

Sadly this isn’t the first time Scarlett has been replaced in one of her presenting roles.

Last year it was revealed she would not be returning to ITV2 spin-off show, I’m A Celeb Extra Camp, and that actress Emily Atack would be hosting it alongside Joel Dommett instead.

However, Scarlett, who recently moved in with her police officer boyfriend Scott Dobinson, insisted it was her decision not to go back to Australia as she wanted to spend more time with her family over Christmas.

It was also recently revealed that the brunette will not be returning to Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway when it hits screens again this year.

The disappointing news came despite Scarlett co-presenting the 2018 series finale with Declan Donnelly after Ant McPartlin’s drink-driving car crash.

She had called the role her “dream job” but said she was never on a rolling contract, and her termination was due to them changing the format of the ITV show.

Before moving into TV work, Scarlett enjoyed a presenting job at Capital Breakfast on Capital North East, signing up in November 2015 but leaving just 13 months later in December 2016.
