ZARA McDermott has been caught out yet again after she purposely edited photos to hide the backdrop of her Maldives break.

The Love Island star and her boyfriend Sam Thompson reportedly flaunted Tier 4 travel rules to take a secret trip to the Maldives, which has left many up in arms.

And Zara’s latest photo was sure anger the public as she cropped out the backdrop of her holiday from her latest Instagram post promoting her new gymwear line.

Interestingly, the backdrop and her boyfriend MIC star Sam, 27, are featured in a non-cropped version of the picture, which is being used as a promo post on Missguided’s official Instagram.

In the non-edited selfie, Zara is seen seductively modelling a sports bra from her new collaboration while the mirror reflection behind her shows Sam working out in their luxury Maldives resort’s gym.

She captioned the intial post: “My edit with @missguided is HERE!!!! I hope you guys love it as much as I do!

“So today we are dropping the first few styles, and over the next few days we will be adding lots and lots of extras to keep your eyes peeled…”.

Noticeably under Missguided’s post, followers are up in arms about the star flouting government travel restrictions while promoting her new range.

“Forgot to edit the picture? Unforgivable that someone would break Tier 4 travel rules and fly off to the Maldives,” one Instagram user commented.

A second penned: “This is taken in the gym at AyClub in the Ayada hotel in the Maldives where she went for holiday while in Tier 4 lockdown.

Her latest blunder comes after the Made In Chelsea couple were spotted flying out of London on December 27, despite Tier 4 lockdown rules.

Under strict rules in place to prevent the spread of Covid 19, Brits aren’t allowed to travel internationally.

To throw fans off the scent, former Love Island star Zara, 24, shared photos on her Instagram, tagging her location as London.

Fans have accused the pair of trying to cover up the fact they were abroad by altering timestamps and sharing pre-recorded pics.

A source told MailOnline Zara and Sam stayed at luxury resort Ayada Maldives, where they previously visited in December 2019.

While Zara has been tagging her social media content with the the UK, Sam has refrained from posting since flying out of the country.

This latest news comes after Zara revealed her dream engagement ring – even after her boyfriend Sam’s dating app bombshell.

The pair got back together during the Made In Chelsea finale after splitting earlier in the year.

Taking part in the viral Instagram picture challenge, a fan asked Zara to show them her “dream engagement ring” to which she shared a pic of a huge square diamond on a silver band.

The Love Island beauty caption the picture: “Probably something like this. Although whatever my boyfriend chose I would love.”

Sam and Zara split earlier this year after she admitted to cheating on him with music boss Brahim Fouradi during her stint on X Factor: Celebrity.

Sam reportedly forgave the Love Islander and reunited with her, looking very cosy ever since on social media.
