SHAUGHNA Phillips has claimed that girls were made to wear high heels in the Love Island villa.

The 25-year-old decided to take part in a Q&A with her fans last night to cure her isolation boredom – and one answer revealed that the islanders had no say in what shoes they had to wear.

After stating that she was “bored AF,” the former democratic services officer asked her 1.5m followers to send her over some questions for her to answer.

One fan asked: “Are you required to wear heels in the villa?”

Without giving too much away Shaughna looked straight into the camera and nodded her head – implying that all girls had to wear them during their time on the dating show.

“This is my not impressed face… I haven’t got indigestion,” she wrote.

Another fan asked how the reality star got the chance to take part in the popular ITV2 show.

The beauty after being scouted on Instagram she went through a three-month process before she was told she got the part.

She explained: “So I got approached for Love Island in August on Instagram and then it was kind of just a slowish process.

“You kind of do like a different stage each month and then found out in December!”

The Londoner has been following the government guidelines and avoiding all unnecessary social contact to slow down the spread of the virus.

However earlier this month she took to her social media platform to share her concerns about how she thinks she’s already had the deadly bug.

Taking to Instagram, she shared that she was “convinced” that she had coronavirus during her time in the villa after suffering from breathing problems.

She wrote: “Thinking about it, I’m convinced I had the rona (coronavirus) in the Love Island villa.

“I was ILLLLLLLLLL! Couldn’t breathe laying down and all that s***!”

She then asked Love Island assistant producer, Kitty Ure, to corroborate her story.

Shaughna wrote: “@kittyure back me up her pls and thnx.”

The Londoner appeared on the series, which was filmed in Cape Town, South Africa, from January 12 and was brutally dumped from the villa on February 14 – returning to the UK four days later.

While the first cases of coronavirus were detected in China in late 2019, the first in South Africa was not reported until March 5.

It is also unlikely the beauty picked up the deadly disease in the UK before leaving for Love Island as the first case was not confirmed until February 28.
