BEING on a reality show means all eyes are on you – and that can mean pressure to look good.
But some inspiring stars have astounded fans with dramatic body transformations which at times have left them almost unrecognisable.
Recently Towie’s Lewis Bloor showed off his ripped new bod after an intense workout plan, six years after leaving the show.
The reality star, 32, has swapped nights out down the Sugar Hut for intense gym sessions, and now works as a fat loss coach.
Here we take a look at other telly faves who have completely changed their image.

Holly Hagan claims she was always known as “the fat one” on Geordie Shore when she went on the show in 2011.
She tried loads of crash diets and yo-yoed over the years, but in 2020 she revealed she’d lost 16lb in just two weeks – and she’s managed to maintain it since.
Holly described her lifestyle at the beginning of the exercise and weight loss programme as “bad,” admitting she scoffed three takeaways a week and did no exercise.
She said her mental health was suffering too, and she was unable to sleep, but she’s now feeling stronger than ever.
She said: “I can’t believe I can now do full press-ups, lift heavy weights and feel confident in any gym. What shocked me the most is that I’ve done all this eating CARBS! So many carbs!! Daily pancakes and Coco Pops, potatoes, rice, EVERYTHING!
“I’ve spent my entire life crash dieting, starving, binging, making myself ill when I didn’t need to. I FINALLY feel in control.”
TOWIE star Bobby Norris went from skin and bones to a beefcake in just 11 weeks, with the help of Geordie Shore star Scotty T.
In 2020, sharing a picture of his newly ripped body, Bobby wrote: “I’ve been fuelling my body with nutritious healthy food and doing 15 minute exercises everyday for the first six weeks and then five weeks ago Scotty stepped in to help me achieve a body and mind I could have only previously dreamed of.
“I’ve never felt more balanced, energised and happy in my own skin.”
Praising Scotty for his support, he added: “Living a healthy lifestyle isn’t just about the way you look, it’s about being the best version of you and having respect for yourself and your body. My mental health has never been better.”
This Morning presenter Josie Gibson was a size 18 when she first shot to fame on Big Brother in 2010.
She famously lost six stone in 2013, thanks to a “combination of healthy eating and exercise” but put on “around four-and-a-half stone” after getting pregnant with her son Reggie, now three.
In 2021, Josie followed a healthy diet, drank more water and began doing 30-45 minutes of exercise a day. She managed to fit back into her size 14 jeans, and has now shed a whopping seven stone in total.
Showing off her weight loss, she said: “I cannot tell you how happy I am. You know, all these lockdowns, the pandemic has been very stressful.
“How I handle stress is I eat. I’ve always done it and I went up to a size 18. You just get to the point where you look in the mirror and don’t even recognise who you’re looking at anymore.”
Before going into the Love Island villa in 2020, Shaughna Phillips had lost four stone and was a size 8.
But after the show, during lockdown, she gained two stone and went up to a size 14.
Last year, she decided to take control and put herself on a strict diet.
She said: “In lockdown I definitely indulged a lot more than I used to when it came to food. I did end up gaining quite a bit of weight. I gained two stone.”
She continued: “I have recently been trying to get back into the swing of things (life basically!), and that includes working out and eating better, as well as trying to adapt my working life around my new healthy lifestyle!
“It is safe to say that this has NOT been an overnight success. But it’s a marathon, not a sprint!”
Last week she shared a picture of herself in a pair of leggings as she lifted up her top to reveal her flat tummy.
Shaughna wrote: “Finally! Was a size 8 pre Love Island, was a size 14 in January. These leggings are a size 12 and just a lil too big.”
As well as dieting and exercise, Shaughna had an operation to remove two litres of fat from her thighs last year, treating a condition called lipoedema – an abnormal buildup of fat in the legs and bum.
Alexandra Cane was described as Love Island’s “curvy” contestant when she appeared on the show’s fourth series.
But she lost two stone in 2020 and dramatically transformed her body – after using exercise to combat anxiety.
“I don’t recognise myself,” she told HOAR. “I look in the mirror and ask ‘who is that girl?’. But I’m proud of myself and I thank myself every single day because it’s not easy to break away from habits, it’s really tough.
“The way exercise makes you feel is infectious.”
Another Geordie Shore star who’s changed a lot since she was on the MTV show is Chloe Ferry.
She’s lost a lot of weight – but last year confessed she’d gained two stone during a lengthy “business trip” to Dubai.
When she returned she declared she felt “much better” after shedding “a few pounds” thanks to diet and exercise.
She said: “I’ve been on my diet now for about two and a half weeks… my bloating is starting to go down and I’ve lost a few pounds.”
The 26-year-old reality star has also spent over £50,000 in overhauling her image – having had everything from breast implants to a bum lift, Botox, nose job, cheek and lip fillers and an eyebrow lift.
By far the most costly of her physical updates are her pearly white veneers, which set her back £28,000.
Love Island star Anton Danyluk looks dramatically different since he found fame on the ITV2 dating show.
While he was always in shape, he has seemingly been working hard in the gym recently, and looks even more ripped.
However, fans have also commented that he looks almost unrecognisable facially.
One wrote: “Have u had to many fillers. Ur face looks so swollen. U look poorly mate. Just not u at all [sic].”
Another asked: “Why are your eyes looking swollen recently. They didn’t look like before.”
However, Anton has insisted he’s not had any fillers or surgery.
He told Fubar Radio: “I genuinely haven’t had work done to my face. I’m honest, I will say if I have, I don’t care.
“If I want to have work done to my face, it’s my face, it’s my body.’
When Faye Winter was on the last series of Love Island, she had a lot of lip filler, and was very open about it.
Since the show she’s had her fillers dissolved and looks much more natural.
“It’s no secret about my lips. I had my lips dissolved and then refilled with a new technique so it’s allowed my lips to look bigger with less filler,” Faye explained.
“My Botox had gone wrong and both of my eyebrows had dropped.
“However, I’ve had that fixed. My eyebrows are now where they should be and I’m wrinkle-free on my forehead. And my lips are perfectly ideal.”

The former lettings agent said that she has no plans on getting more fillers in the future.
She said: “I am happy with how I look. I knew from a young age I had small lips so had some filler to make them bigger, and I had Botox for my wrinkles.”
