On Tuesday Caroline’s closest friends wore “Choose Love” T-shirts to her funeral as they gave her a final send-off.

The 40-year-old’s pals posted pictures from her wake as they revealed they “promised to look after her family”.

Caroline’s best friends Lou Tisdale and Mollie Grosberg wore ‘Choose Love’ T-shirts to her funeral

Caring Lou Teasdale simply wrote on Instagram: “Bye beautiful” with a broken heart emoji.

She had stuck by Caroline’s side all night on Valentine’s Day, but was the last person to see her alive after she took her own life just minutes after Lou left the flat the following morning.

TV producer Mollie Grosberg – who has taken in Caroline’s dog Ruby – shared a photo of her kissing Lou’s cheek, with the caption: “Bye bye my beauty. I’ll never ever not think about you every second of every day.

“We love you so much and we are smiling today just for you. The sun shone.”

In a joint statement, her friends Simon Carroll and Liam Pikett wrote on Instagram: “Family is the cornerstone of any world that turns, Carrie’s was no different.

“We feel lucky to have spent valued time with Joe, Chris and your family.

“Often at times of grief things can be simple, or too complicated – what I know is that the ebb and flow, tension and resolve is ultimately born out of love.

“Whether it’s the family you were born into or the additional family you chose in life, you taught us all the importance of valuing and celebrating the here and now.

Friends said: ‘Goodnight and god bless our sweet angel…’

“Reminding us at every point to always be kind. We will always be here for your family Caroline, as we promised.

“Our relationships with each other – will continue to deepen. We will remember you dressed in sunshine at Glastonbury, Nice, Petit Ermitage, Dubai, Islington and in any Soho House from London to LA.

“We love you Caroline, we will celebrate you in the quiet moments and always think of you with your hands in the air, perfect legs and really, really tiny feet still dancing – and singing at the top of your lungs.”

They then quoted Caroline’s favourite song  If You Like Pina Coladas.
