THEY were the first big names to sign up to ITV’s The Real Games – but now the Thomas brothers’ appearance has become a false start.
In April I revealed how Love Island hunk Scott and his soap-star siblings Ryan and Adam were to be pitted against each other in rival teams.
But Covid restrictions mean the stars would be competing in solo events only, leaving their contracts up in the air.
An insider said: “Scott, Ryan and Adam were so looking forward to it. The plan was they’d all be in different teams competing against one another.
“But now it’s just single events, it’s unlikely all three will take part. As it stands, they’re not going to. But it’s hoped one will stay on board.”
In January, I told how Holly Willoughby and Andrew Flintoff had signed on to host The Real Games this year.
But after the Olympics in Japan were shelved until next summer, ITV followed suit, moving filming to next spring.
I hope the pandemic does not cause any more setbacks.

LOVE Island’s Tommy Fury has sparked speculation he’s got engaged to co-star Molly-Mae Hague on holiday in Dubai, as he called her his “wife” in a loved-up Instagram post today.
The boxer captioned the snap, “Happy wife, happy life” as he gazed into the eyes of his other half on the beach.
It’s a Neighbours epicsode
IT’S Aussie soap Neighbours’ 8,500th episode tomorrow, would you believe it.
Stefan Dennis, who plays businessman Paul Robinson and Ryan Moloney, aka Toadfish, held up the magic numbers along with co-stars Rebekah Elmaloglou (Terese Willis) and Jemma Donovan (Harlow Robinson). Jemma is the daughter of former Neighbours heart-throb Jason, who played Scott Robinson.
Stefan said: “It is extraordinary. I took the role in 1985 thinking it would be for maybe six months at the most. This milestone is particularly special because of the year the world has experienced, so I feel very privileged.”
Ryan said: “In March, we celebrated the 35th anniversary. Now we celebrating the 8,500th episode at the end of lockdown in Melbourne, where we film.
“We’ve bookended the pandemic with mile-stones. I think we’ve all been celebrating in our own quiet way every day over the last eight months – being able to continue working and doing what we love during Covid.”
The 8,500th episode airs on Channel 5 at 1pm tomorrow.

In a Zoom reunion between Bryn (Rob Brydon) and Pam (Alison Steadman) for charity Marie Curie, Pam let slip that Big Fat Sue weighs 18st.
Sue was also said to have eaten the Christmas pud Pam forgot to bring in last year’s Christmas special.
Alison quipped: “You’ve got an image of her about 20st, haven’t you? But she’s only 18. But it’s quite a lot, isn’t it?
“When we got back all those Christmas puddings, Mick said, ‘What are you gonna do with them?’ Me and Big Fat Sue have been eating them and we’ve put on a stone.”
