When is the first Love Island 2020 elimination?

The first elimination of the winter edition of Love Island will take place TONIGHT (January 17th, 2020).

There will be a re-coupling in which the boys will choose who they want to couple up with.

The girl who is left on her own will be dumped from the island and will be the first to leave the Love Island villa.

As of now, Shaughna Hughes and Paige Turley are single after Callum Jones was stolen by bombshell Eve Gale and Ollie Williams quit the villa after just three days.

How do the eliminations work?

Tonight the boys will chose which girl they want to couple up with.

The islanders will gather round and one-by-one each boy will state their reasons for choosing a girl, before revealing their name.

Once the couple has been confirmed, the boy and the girl will sit together.

Eliminations can also be decided by a public vote.

In order for fans to weigh in on who they think should leave, they will need to download the Love Island App which is available to both Android and Apple iOS users.

The app is free to download and free to use to cast your vote.
