Fans want to know if Love Island Australia will return for season 3

When will Love Island Australia season 3 happen?

This is still up in the air, with Love Island Australia producers keeping tight-lipped about when season 3 will be on TV.

Channel 9 confirmed back in April 2021 the show will go ahead, but we still don’t know when it will air.

Once filming begins, the show will go out first in Australia, then us Brits can except it a few weeks later.

Casting is still open, with the application page stating the show will happen in 2021.

Where will season 3 of Love Island Australia take place?

This is yet to be confirmed.

The first season followed in the footsteps of the UK show, and was filmed in a villa in Majorca.

However, for the second season of Love Island Oz was filmed in Fiji in the same villa where Love Island USA season 1 was filmed.

Who were the previous winners of Love Island Australia?

Season 1

The first series originally aired in 2018 and then was repeated in the UK in 2020 during lockdown.

Grant Crapp and Tayla Damir crowned winners of the show.

But things did not last between the couple – in fact they split not long after they left the famous villa.

It turned out Grant hadn’t been honest when signing up for Love Island as he wasn’t actually single.

It was reported at the time that Grant had a secret girlfriend the entire time he was in Spain, and that the only reason he went on the show was to promote his clothing line.

Grant denied the rumours, but just two weeks after he split from Tayla (they only lasted two weeks themselves), he was back with his ex.

Season 2

The second series was won by Anna McEvoy and Josh Packham.

The couple were viewer favourites after they got together halfway through the show and made their relationship official just before the show’s final.

After the series ended, Anna and Josh moved in together during the pandemic and shared loads of photos from their time in lockdown.

Unfortunately, by November 2020, the couple took to Instagram to announce their split after a year together.
