LEANNE Amaning will be part of the first bunch of singletons entering the first ever Winter Love Island villa.

She will be strutting her stuff in Love Island’s new location of South Africa, when it gets underway on Sunday (January 12).

Who is Winter Love Island’s Leanna Amaning?

Leanne Amaning is 22-years old and was born and raised in London.

She graduated from the University of Nottingham with a masters degree last month, gaining a distinction in occupational psychology.

When she was 19, Amaning took part in Miss Ghana UK and was one of 15 contestants.

She was also one of the joint youngest entrants in the beauty pageant.

She recently spent time in Ghana and loved being there so much, she captioned a post on her Instagram saying she is ‘never coming home’.

The now customer advisor has aspirations to become a freelance makeup artist and also has interests in digital arts, photography and blogging.

What is Leanne Amaning looking for in the Winter Love Island villa?

Leanne has boldly described herself as unpredictable, fun and charismatic and is going to into the villa to learn grow as an individual.

She said: “Im fun and want to find love but Im not that open, so I think Im actually going into Love
Island to learn and change.”

Despite wanting to develop as a person, Leanne still wants to find love and went on to describe her ideal man as “Someone who is rugged and manly, not anyone with a pretty face. I also want someone loyal and trustworthy.”

She even described her worst dating experience which involved a guy rapping acapella.

“A guy once started rapping acapella to me. I was sat there awkwardly and had to clap afterwards”, she explained.

The new winter series isstarting on Sunday, January 12, 2020 on ITV2.

After the first episode airs at 9pm, you can catch the programme at the same time each night throughout the week.

It is the sixth season of the popular reality TV show – and the first of two series to be aired in 2020.

Love Island usually airs every night with a recap on the week’s events on a Saturday.

For the 2020 winter edition, Love Island: Aftersun will air every Monday at 10pm after the main show has finished.

Both Winter Love Island and Love Island Aftersun will also be available to watch on demand on the ITV Hub.
