AN Asda shopper has spotted a HUGE sale with up to 75 per cent off outdoor toys, BBQs, and camping gear in stores.
With prices starting from just 25p, it could come in handy as the weather heats up again across the UK.
A shopper in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook shared pictures of the bargains and wrote: “Asda – all outdoor toys, BBQ accessories and BBQs, selected camping stuff, all half price.”
He told HOAR he spotted the sale in the Thornaby store as well as Asda Living Teesside in the North East of England.
Meanwhile, another shopper said she found the same reductions in Asda’s Hamilton store in Scotland.
Asda is yet to confirm whether the sale is available in all stores nationwide, so it’s worth calling your closest one before popping over.
You can find your nearest Asda and its contact details by using the store locator tool.
The supermarket is also yet to clarify how long the sale is available for and whether online shoppers will be able to nab similar discounts, so we’ll update this article once we hear back.
Outdoor toys up for grabs spotted by the shopper includes a two-pack of Zuru XShot Soaker water guns on sale for £2.50, down from £5.
The soaker can blast water up to 16 feet away – perfect for water fights in the garden with the family.
We couldn’t find the same toy pistol on sale anywhere else, although Amazon is selling one from the same brand for £14.50, including free delivery.
The shopper also spotted various packs of colourful plates with prices starting from 32p, and 75p flower printed cooling bags have been reduced from £3 – working out as a 75 per cent discount.
Asda had also reduced a set of six cones from £2 to £1, and bubble sticks in various colours for 25p each, down from 50p.
A similar bubble wand is up for grabs on Kidspartycraftforless.com for 69p, meaning you’re better off by shopping at Asda.
But before you depart with any cash, it’s always worth comparing prices elsewhere to make sure you’re getting a good deal.
Google’s price comparison tool, Google Shopping, is free and easy to use.
In other shopping news, The Entertainer has slashed toy prices by up 90 per cent.
While Tesco has launched a huge baby sale – and prices start from £1.
Meanwhile, Argos has launched a two for £15 toy sale and it includes big brands such as Lego, Peppa Pig and LOL Surprise.
