The Gym Group has upped its cleaning routine as it welcomes back customers today

Gyms were forced to close on March 20 due to the coronavirus crisis, leaving Brits with no choice but to do home workouts.

But last month, they were finally given the green to light to reopen to customers from today, July 25.

Working out won’t be the same as before though and gymgoers can expect a wide range of new coronavirus measures.

These include sneeze screens around gym equipment, shorter workouts as well as sanitiser stations so you can wipe down your machine.

Each fitness centre will have slightly different measures in place, so do check how your local gym has changed.
