I LOVE to get into the Christmas spirit with some seriously seasonal snacks to nibble.

Thankfully, the supermarkets have created some fantastically festive flavours — and here are some of my favourites.

Get into the Christmas spirit with these fantastic deals on festive snacks

MERRY CRISP-MAS: I love the seasonal crisps available at the moment and they make a perfect, cheap snack while we’re stuck indoors more.

M&S has a great selection and my two favourites have to be the Pigs In Blankets Hand Cooked Crisps and the Beef Wellington Crisps, both £1.75 per bag. But if you want to save a few pennies, Tesco has a great swap with its Finest Limited Edition Pigs In Blankets Crisps for £1.

NOT HALF-BAKED: Greggs fans can get a festive hit on the cheap at home — after first heading to Iceland. The supermarket is now selling two-packs of the popular Greggs Festive Bakes for £2, or just £1 per bake. In comparison, Greggs is typically selling them for £1.60 each. What’s not to like?

PIE CRIKEY: Marks and Spencer has amazing all-butter spiced Mince Pie cookies for £1. They are topped with a dollop of mincemeat and taste amazing.

They make a great treat on the cheap, but if you want something smaller and similar (and save dosh) check out Asda’s Extra Special 8 Mince Pie Cookies, £1.50.

CHOC STOCK: My advent calendar puts me in the mood for more chocolate. If, like me, you’re a sucker for Cadbury’s Dairy Milk, make sure you check out the limited-edition Winter Gingerbread flavour. It tastes seriously festive and goes perfectly with a cuppa.

A bar usually costs £1.49, but you can nab it now for just £1 at Asda.
