SEARCHING for no-meat treats?
We have gone, literally, nuts for Veganuary, with more than 500,000 of us set to take part this month.
But turning vegan no longer means sacrificing your favourite foods.
Get the family to join you in your eating plan, with these delicious deals . . .
Hot pot: One of my favourite dishes is spaghetti bolognese. Tesco’s new Plant Chef range includes a great mushroom spaghetti ready meal for £2.50. But Home Bargains is also selling a microwave pot version for £1.50. Both are affordable, decent dinners if you need something quick after a long day.

Chick this out: McDonald’s made some ace vegan nuggets a few years back but they are not currently on the menu. Birds Eye’s Green Cuisine chicken-free dippers are a decent swap. They are £2.50 a box — or save a quid by getting two for £4.

No-beef burger: Future Farm burgers, with a meaty texture and taste, have launched in the UK at Sainsbury’s. They are top quality and a two-pack is on offer for £3.40, down from £3.90.

Get a pizza this: Domino’s vegan Chick-Ain’t pizza is £17.99 for a medium size. Instead, try Lidl’s Vemondo vegan margherita for just just £2.29.
SAVE: £15.70
Roll with it: If you cannot get to a Greggs at the moment, you can buy a box of four Greggs vegan sausage rolls at Iceland for £2.50. But Aldi’s own-brand vegan sausage rolls taste very similar and you get four for £1.19. Bargain alert.
