ICELAND has kicked off an online flash sale that sees the price of frozen goods slashed by up to 50%.

But shoppers will have to be quick to nab the deals as the sale is only on until 11pm tonight, after which prices return to normal.

Greggs fans can bag half price frozen sausage and bean melts

The frozen-food supermarket has cut the price of everyday food products as well as luxury treats.

Greggs fans can even bag half price sausage and bean melts and cheese and onion bakes.

The supermarket has slashed the price in half, meaning they now cost £1 instead of £2 per pack.

You can’t buy frozen Greggs goods in any other supermarket either, so you’ll be getting a deal on these.

Iceland has knocked £1 off the price of these spicy pigs in blankets

Some of our other top picks include a 700g bag of McCain crispy skin on fries that are in the sale for £1.75, down from £2.75.

It’s the cheapest price we could find for the chips – the next best offer was for £2 at Ocado.

A 252g pack of Iceland’s 12 Carolina Reaper pigs in blankets is half price in the sale, at £1 instead of £2.

The next best price for a 12-pack of sausages wrapped in blankets was £3 from Sainsbury’s although they don’t come with the spicy flavour.

Half price pizza is on the cards too, as Goodfella’s pepperoni one is on offer for £1.25 instead of £2.50.

While we couldn’t find this particular pizza cheaper anywhere else, the margherita version is on offer for the same price at Sainsbury’s.

The retailer has also knocked £1 off the price of a 16 piece Ferrero Rocher gift set, right in time for Mother’s Day this Sunday.

The chocs cost £3 instead of £4. The same treats cost £5 from Ocado.

Iceland has also slashed £1 off the a 2kg pack of fresh chicken breast fillets so they now cost £9.

Again, it’s the cheapest we could find. The same amount of chicken from Morrison will set you back £9.99.

Remember though, there are only a few hours left of the sale but it’s only worth buying the goods if you were already planning on adding them to your shopping list.

Otherwise, you’ll end up spending more than you budgeted for, eliminating any savings you may have made.

Remember, the deals are only available online so you won’t find them if you head into a store.

The supermarket offers free home delivery but there’s a minimum spend of £35, so the deals are only worth taking advantage of if you’re already planning on doing a shop.

Iceland runs a weekly flash sale, offering discounted products online to get more shoppers using their delivery service.

Since the start of the pandemic, the retailer has taken on another 3,000 delivery drivers ad store staff to keep up with the increased demand.

It’s not the only store to do this with leading brands including Tesco and Sainsbury’s also  dramatically increased the number of available delivery slots.

Even so, thousands of shoppers struggled to get a slot for Christmas and New Year after millions of Brits were plunged into emergency lcokdown restrictions.

We’ve put together a guide to find out when supermarkets release upcoming order states.
