LINDT Lindor has launched its first sharing tin of chocolates for Christmas 2020 with six different flavours inside.

Foodie website Delish reports how the sharing tin contains 32 assorted truffles.

Lindt Lindor is releasing a tin of assorted truffles for Christmas

Inside, chocolate lovers get six of the following flavours, including milk, white, extra dark, milk and white, hazelnut and salted caramel.

Delish reports how the 400g tins will be sold for £15 on the Lindt Lindor website, or £10 from Tesco and Sainsbury’s.

We can’t see the tins available to buy online yet, but we’re checking with each retailer to see when they’ll go on sale.

The new release means Lindt is giving some serious competition to the likes of Christmas staples such as Celebrations and Heroes.

However, these won’t cost you as much as Lindt, with Tesco currently selling 650g tubs of Celebrations for £3.50.

You can also buy packs of 337g packs of Lindt truffles for £6, which would save you £4 although you’d get 63g less chocolate.

HOAR has contacted Lindt for more information about this new release and we’ll update this article when we hear back.

If you’re prone to worrying about your weight at Christmas time, you’ll want to know that a 37g Lindt truffle typically has 73 calories.

In the UK, the average man is recommended to consume no more than 2,500 calories, while it’s 2,000 for women.

The new Christmas launch comes after Lindt released new pick and mix stands in Sainsbury’s stores.

In more sweet news, Terry’s Chocolate Orange has brought back its white chocolate version.

Meanwhile, Asda is selling Nestle’s new Munchies – but only for a limited time.
