BARGAIN hunters can stock up on chocolates for Christmas with the four for a fiver deal at Morrisons.

Festive favourites that feature in the offer include Celebrations, Heroes, Quality Street and Roses.

Shoppers can bag four chocolates for just a fiver in the deal
The boxes of Heroes included in the offer weigh 185g and usually cost £2

But you can also bag the discount on boxes of Wine Gums, Jelly Babies and Liquorice Allsorts.

All of the sweets cost £3 a box normally, apart from the Heroes and Roses which cost £2.

The mix and match deal makes each box of chocolates worth £1.25, making them cheaper than anywhere else.

The maximum you can save in the offer is a huge £7, depending on what combination of sweets you choose.

The 240g tubs of Quality Street cost £3 each when bought outside of the deal

For example, if you picked the 400g box of Wine Gums, 245g of Celebrations, 240g of Quality Street and 245g of Celebrations you would get the maximum savings.

But if you bought two boxes of Heroes and two boxes of Roses then you’ll only save £3.

Even though the saving is less, it’s still a decent deal and you’ll struggle to find anything as good elsewhere.

The deal is even good value for money if you want to stock up on one type of choc compared to bigger tins.

For example, you can get 980g (four 245g boxes) worth of Celebrations chocolates at Morrisons for a five, or a 650g tub for £4.

It’s worth having a shop around though before you part with your cash to see if you can find a better deal elsewhere.

Th Roses boxes cost £2 each on their own and weigh 186g

The offer is available in stores and online, but shoppers are limited to buying just four boxes at a time to avoid stockpiling.

You’ll need to be quick though as the deal ends on September 22 – you will qualify for the offer online if you place your order by the even if it’s not being delivered for another few days.

There’s a minimum spend of £40 to qualify for delivery and fees range from £1 to £6.

Alternatively, you can dodge the fees by heading straight to your local Morrisons – you can find your nearest one using the locator tool.

Last week, Asda was running a deal on two tubs of Christmas chocolates, including Celebrations, Heroes and Quality Street for £7.

Supermarkets tend to dramatically slash prices in a bid to shift stock – last year Tesco reduced the cost to just £2.50.

Christmas may be three months away but stores have already started stocking advent calendars and crackers.
