THE summer holidays are almost here.
And while it’s unlikely you’ll be jetting off to a hot overseas location, I imagine a trip to the beach or pool is definitely on the cards – especially now that outdoor pools have reopened with safety measures in place.
If your one-piece or trunks have seen better days, here’s how you can save even more on some savvy swimwear…
WOMEN: Grab a stylish swimsuit online at newlook.com – the black belted underwired swimsuit is just £13, down from £25.99. Add a splash of colour with the tummy control padded wrap plunge swimsuit from M&S, now £19.60, down from £28. Or, if you’re looking for a bikini, head to Primark, which has a great range with prices starting at just £2, that’s even cheaper than the Pep&Co range in Poundland. I like the coral mix-and-match bandeau top.
MEN: Guys, you should also check out Primark’s huge range of swimming trucks, prices start at £5 and there’s so many to choose from. Be bold with the pink parrot shorts, £5. If you’re after a designer pair, the sonar teal swim shorts from reiss.com are on sale for £25, down from £50, but you can save even more cash if you buy the similar but cheaper Quiksilver everyday volley shorts from surfdome.com for £16.45, which are down from £27.
KIDS: Kit your little Frozen fans out with a Frozen flounce-trimmed swimsuit, £9.99 at H&M, or to save cash get a two-pack of pink tropical swimsuits at Asda, starting at £8. I also love the green dinosaur swim shorts on sale at johnlewis.com, pricing starts at £6.50, down from £13, and goes up to £8.50 depending on size.
BABY: Dress up your little water baby in the floral surf suit, £10 at matalan.co.uk – it’s suitable for little ones from the age of three months old. Plus, the Baby Shark rash-guard one-piece from gap.co.uk is suitable for newborns and is on sale for £8.99, down from £14.95, that’s a bargain.
