UGG boots are back – for better or worse.
A must-have in the Noughties, their popularity is rising again, with retailer Schuh reporting sales are up by 30 per cent.
I’m not surprised. They combine indoor slippers with outdoor shoes, so are great for a dash to the shops in PJs.
But they aren’t cheap. So here is how to nab the look for less . . .
CLASSIC BOOT: A great all-rounder for keeping toes cosy indoors and nipping out, the classic Ugg boot is quite pricey at £165 for a short pair. BRAND SWAP: Beware of fake Uggs. You don’t want to fork out for a cheap, badly made product. But if you don’t mind about branding and still want a good-quality sheepskin boot, it pays to shop around lesser-known brands.
