WALKERS has revealed its festive flavour for Christmas 2020 – and this year it’s sausage rolls.

It’s the latest in the line of quirky tastes from the snacks giant – although it’s not quite as unusual as its Brussels sprout crisps from 2018 and 2019.

We’re excited to try the sausage roll flavoured Walkers crisps

Walkers has teamed up with LadBaby for the sausage roll flavour, with the YouTube sensation also taking over from Mariah Carey as the star of Walkers’ Christmas advert for this year.

Crisp lovers will find the new snacks in stores from this Monday, October 19, with both single packs, mutlipacks and share packs available.

Single 32.6g packs of Walkers sausage roll crisps have a recommended retail price (RRP) of 69p, while it’s £1 for a mutlipack of five 25g bags, and £1 for a 65g sharing pack.

As this is just the recommended price, what you’ll end up paying may slightly vary between stores.

Walkers told HOAR that the new flavour will be available in all major stores nationwide, including Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Co-Op.

And to keep with the festive season of giving, 5p from each pack will go to food bank charity Trussell Trust.

Previous festive Walkers flavours include glazed ham, pigs in blankets and the classic turkey and stuffing.

We’ve asked Walkers if any of these flavours will be making a return this year and we’ll update this article when we know more.

HOAR is also checking what the calorie count is for the new sausage roll crisps.

Philippa Pennington, from Walkers, said: “We’re excited to be adding one of the nation’s most loved flavours – sausage rolls – to our offering this festive season.

“With huge demand for food banks this year, we want everyone to get behind LadBaby and help to raise even more money at Christmas for the Trussell Trust.”

Mark Hoyle, aka LadBaby, said: “The iconic sausage roll meets Britain’s favourite crisps – what’s not to love?

“It’s the ultimate mash up of two British classics, and they are raising money for charity too!”

For more Christmas food, check out what Aldi is selling this year – their selection includes a blueberry gin liqueur.

We’ve also checked out Sainsbury’s Christmas 2020 food, which includes a pigs in blankets stuffing wreath.

Tesco shoppers will find giant pigs in blankets as part of its Christmas 2020 selection.
