The details of the arrangement have not been disclosed and neither Boris or QC Marina were in court.

Boris and high-flying Marina, 55, wed in 1993 but split in 2018 after their marriage was rocked by his infidelity.

He began dating 31-year-old Carrie Symonds, who now lives with him at No 10.

In November last year, it emerged Boris and Marina’s 3.75 million Grade II-listed townhouse in Islington, North London, was being sold.

Marina – mother to four of Boris’ children – is the eldest daughter of BBC correspondent Sir Charles Wheeler and his Indian wife Dip Singh.

She was appointed to the Queen’s Council in 2016 and specialises in human rights within public law.

Marina was Boris’ second wife after he broke up with Allegra Mostyn-Owen, who met at university when they were both aged 23.

The pair tied the knot in 1987 but split after six years of marriage over claims they were never compatible.
