BORIS Johnson needed the help of Sajid Javid to put on a headset as he hit the phones to drum up support for the Tories.

The PM was snapped speaking to callers at CCHQ in central London with Michael Gove, Dominic Raab and Theresa Villiers also chipping in.

But before he could chat to voters about the fight against Labour, Mr Johnson had to see off another tough adversary his headphones.

Once the Tory boss got them on securely, he was then spotted staring blankly at the screen as Mr Javid instructed him how to connect with members of the public.

He then announced his name to a voter and said: I’m the Prime Minister before having a quick chat.

Mr Johnson also took a selfie of the Tory ministers and their team together with the caption: Team selfie! Lets get Brexit done.

ON YOUR BIKE

The PMs shift on the phones comes after he admitted that the naughtiest thing he had ever done was riding his bike on the pavement while Mayor of London.

He was pushed to match predecessor Theresa Mays legendary confession during the 2017 election campaign of running through fields of wheat as a child.

During a grilling from Skys Sophy Ridge, the Tory boss said: I may sometimes when I was riding a bicycle every day not always have obeyed the law when cycling on the pavement.

I might sometimes have scooted up on it.

However, when Mr Johnson, who has previously hit the headlines for extra-marital affairs, was pressed on whether this really was his biggest misdemeanour, he insisted had only been asked for “the naughtiest thing I was prepared to admit to”.
