THE DUP could do a deal with Labour if they were willing to boot out Jeremy Corbyn.

Arlene Foster claimed the far-left leader would destroy the economy, but refused to rule out working with a different leader.

Arlene Foster could put a different Labour leader into Number 10.

The DUP agreed a 1 billion deal to prop up Theresa May’s minority Government in 2017.

Agreeing to back Mrs May on key votes, they will be hoping to come out as kingmakers once again.

In comments sure to spark panic among the Tories, the DUP leader admitted there could be a situation where she helped Labour make a government.

She said: “Jeremy Corbyn, of course is an anathema to anyone who believes in the United Kingdom,” said the DUP leader.

“So therefore, we cannot see any circumstances, I see no circumstance where we would support a Jeremy Corbyn-led Labour Party.

“And, if it comes to be the case that someone else is leading the Labour Party, then we will judge it against not only our 12 point plan but whether it’s good for Northern Ireland to be in communication with whoever’s leading the Labour Party at that time.”

Jeremy Corbyn could be on his way out.

She also claimed Mr Corbyn would “destroy the economy”, and labelled the Labour manifesto “fantastical”.

Ms Foster added: “How he’s going to fund that no one knows, he would wreck the economy.

“He would wreck the defence of our nation as well.

“And more than that it would lead to the break-up of the United Kingdom.

The 49-year-old also issued a warning to Boris Johnson, making it clear she would want changes to his Brexit deal to guarantee her support.

She said: “The Brexit deal that is there at the moment leaves Northern Ireland behind and that’s wrong – we all joined the European Union together, we should leave it together as one United Kingdom.”
