AN EMERGENCY Cobra meeting has been summoned to hammer out a plan of action to the freak storms battering Britain.
Storm Dudley is wreaking havoc on swathes of the country – but ministers fear the worst is yet to come as Storm Eunice thunders in tomorrow.
A Government spokesman said: “The Minister for the Cabinet Office will chair a Cobra this morning to discuss the response to Storm Dudley and Storm Eunice.”
It comes after Storm Dudley last night left homes and cars wrecked with 100mph gales – with Brits waking up this morning to debris in their gardens.
