A DECADE of politics has been captured in these amazing snaps, from Brexit, to Scottish independence and FOUR elections.

Dramatic changes to the UK’s political landscape began in 2010, when the Conservative Party gained power for the first time since 1997 in coalition with the Liberal Democrats.

In 2014 we saw Scotland vote to remain in the UK after months of back and forth.

David Cameron returned to Number 10 as the head of a majority government the following year, delivering a crushing blow to Labour’s Ed Miliband and Liberal Democrat Nick Clegg, who both went on to quit as party leaders.

And perhaps the biggest political turning point of the decade was the UK voting to leave the EU.

Over half the public voted to leave after what felt like years of Euroscepticism.

Divisions deepened during the tenureship of Theresa May, who will be remembered for her failure to deliver Brexit, and Boris Johnson, who took the public to the polls for the first December general election in nearly a century crushing Corbyn’s labour with a landslide majority.

As we move into the 2020s, it’s time for Boris to deliver Brexit and lead us out of the EU towards another ten years of British politics.
