JEREMY Corbyn has done an Ed Miliband by releasing his 10 election commandments.

The Labour boss has told voters his government will fulfil 10 central pledges if they get to No10 reminiscent of his predecessor’s hapless Ed Stone stunt.

CORBYN’S COMMANDMENTS

Mr Corbyn has promised Brits he plans to deliver real change that will ensure concrete improvements to the lives of millions.

These includes vow to abolish in-work poverty, stop food bank use and tackle the countrys social care crisis within five years of reaching Downing Street, The Telegraph reports.

Mr Corbyn told supporters in Shropshire, his home county, this morning that he was not born to rule and has pledged to share his power if he wins the election and open a door for others to walk through.

He said: The politics I stand for is about sharing power and wealth with people who dont have a lot of money, dont have friends in high places, so they can take control of their own lives.
Mr Corbyn also said the national vote was a once in a generation chance to transform our country.

The leftie boss added that it offers a chance to revuilding the NHS, schools and police force by taxing those at the top to properly fund the services for everyone else.

But the pledges have been slammed by Tories as not worth the paper theyre written on.

Tory Chairman James Cleverly said Mr Corbyns track record over Brexit very few people will believe a word he says.

David Morris, Tory candidate for Morecambe and Lunesdale, likened Mr Corbyns pledges to those written on the Ed Stone, hauled out by the former hapless Labour boss in 2015.

He said: While Mr Corbyn may not have committed these to stone, just like his predecessor no one will believe a word he says given his record of broken promises.

ED STONE

The Ed Stone tablet showed six promises meant to highlight Labours commitment to deliver on manifesto pledges compared to the Liberal Democrats.

Mr Miliband pledged to erect the stone in the Downing Street rose garden if he got to No10.

However, after a disastrous election campaign saw him defeated by David Cameron – the stone mysteriously disappeared.

BREXIT ‘FAIRYTALE’

Mr Corbyns key speech today comes after his Brexit stance was rubbished as a fairytale.

Tory No Deal minister Michael Gove said: “It is a fairytale if you imagine Jeremy Corbyn can get Brexit done.

His policy on Brexit has been constructed by a terminally weak leader in order to paper over the cracks in his party.

More than half of Brits are confused about Labours Brexit stance despite Mr Corbyn claiming it isnt complicated.

Sixty five per cent of people are unclear, while only 21 per cent of voters believe Mr Corbyn is clear about his position, according to a YouGov poll.

Labours Brexit policy is to broker a credible deal with Brussels versus remaining in the EU.

Mr Corbyn will then put both options back to the public with a second referendum but has yet to say how the party would campaign.
