This is allowing them to self-isolate like the rest of the nation.

A new specialist taskforce has been created to lead the next phase of the Government’s support for the homeless during the crisis.

It will be spearheaded by experienced government problem buster Dame Louise Casey.

Mr Gove also provided an update on work that was being done to help vulnerable people.

He said the Government was nearing delivering its one millionth parcel of essential food.

He also said officials were “working with supermarkets to make sure that a greater number of delivery slots are made available to those most in need.”
