The Labour MP, 62, has clung to office since he was accused in September 2016.

The married father-of-two has raked in 241,262 in pay and MPs generally receive around 12 per cent in pension contributions.
The Leicester East MP also received an extra 6,715.70 before resigning as chair of the Home Affairs select committee.
Vaz was suspended from the Commons last week.
Constituent Josh Newman, 22, said: He should hand his money to local charities.
School cook Steven Matts, 27, added: Its always just been about him – not the people around here. Its appalling just how much money he has pocketed.
Stay-at-home mum Tammie Mobbs, 26, said: They need to remove him from office. He needs to go. He has no business still being an MP.”
The former Europe Minister, who lives in a 2m mansion in North London, issued a statement earlier this week saying he had been admitted to hospital for mental health treatment.
During his encounter with two Romanian male prostitutes at a 380,000 flat he owns, Mr Vaz had claimed to be a washing machine salesman called Jim and later said he met the men to discuss property renovations.
