TORY MP James Grundy has been caught with his pants down, after a video emerged of him flashing his genitals at a pub.
The shocking video has prompted calls for his resignation from members of his constituency of Leigh, in Greater Manchester.
The footage from 2007, revealed by LBC, shows Mr Grundy standing in front of the camera and pulling his trousers down.
A young woman can be heard encouraging him to lift his shirt to reveal his genitals, which he does.
The new Tory MP can even be heard telling the person recording the video there is “no way” that his face can be shown in the video.
Mr Grundy was not an MP at the time of the video, but was only months away from being elected a Conservative councillor.
He is the first ever Tory to represent Leigh – it had previously been a Labour constituency for almost 100 years.
After the video emerged, Mr Grundy said: “I apologise for my actions and for any offence caused.”
The indecent incident took place at Rams Head Inn pub in Lowton where locals say Mr Grundy is a regular face.
Other videos of the MP show him singing rowdy renditions of the Adam and the Ant’s song “Stand and Deliver”.
HOAR understands all of the people at the event were over the age of 18.
Locals were shocked by his behaviour.
One said: “It’s unacceptable whenever it was, in my view… he should step down as a minimum and (it should be) looked into a bit more closely through the correct authorities.”
He added: “If you’re going to be in a position of responsibility and you’re going to be representing people, you’ve got to be accountable for your actions whenever they are.”
