In his covering letter, Geller claimed his psychic powers make him the perfect man to work in the heart of government.

He said he used his special abilities to help fight outfox the Wests enemies in North Korea and Russia. And he suggests Downing Street should have signed him up earlier so he could have helped in the Brexit talks.

The illusionist, 73, also claimed he helped seal Bojos election victory by giving him a spoon energised with mind positivity.

In his covering letter to Mr Cummings, seen by HOAR, Geller says he has worked with Mossad, the CIA and the Pentagon.

He wrote: Dear Dom, You say you want someone on the frontiers of the science of prediction? Well look no further. I have genuine psychic powers – just ask Mossad, the CIA and the Pentagon.

My career as an entertainer has been the perfect mask for my work in espionage. While many have doubted my abilities, my achievements cannot be dismissed as trickery or illusions.

‘I HAVE GENUINE PSYCHIC POWERS’

In my intelligence work I assisted with Operation Desert Storm, helped to locate secret tunnels in North Korea, and used my skills to erase crucial diplomatic discs on their way to Moscow.

I attended nuclear disarmament negotiations with Russia, bombarding their chief negotiator with positive thought waves so that the Soviet delegation would sign the Nuclear Arms Reduction Treaty.

Perhaps you could have used my abilities in your dealings with Michel Barnier.

And he said he has already used his psychic powers to help Bojo win his landslide victory.

He wrote: While I am not yet working for the Government, my work supporting Boris Johnson has already begun.

I helped to influence December 12s General Election result by giving Mr Johnson a spoon energised with mind positivity.

I am currently busy organising the opening of The Uri Geller Museum in Israel, but would consider a move back to Britain for the right position.

He included a link to a video of Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu endorsing his spoon bending powers at the bottom of the letter.

His CV, also sent to No10, states: In my 50-year career I have worked closely with major intelligence agencies, used my psychic abilities to reach global stardom and acted as a promoter for peace.

I instilled spoon-bending into world culture.

Geller told HOAR: I know they are taking my application seriously.
