MEGHAN Markle will be braced for her ex-husband’s account in a new tell-all book – and is likely to find the prospect “terrifying”, a royal expert has said.

The Duchess of Sussex started dating Trevor Engelson in 2004, with the pair marrying for 18 months in 2011.

Meghan Markle was married to Trevor Engelson from 2011 to 2013

The couple divorced in 2013 – five years before Meghan started her new life with Prince Harry.

But Brit biographer Tom Bower is now expected to delve back into her time with Engelson, promising fresh interviews with the film producer in a new biography.

Commenting on the upcoming release, due in Autumn, Royal expert Neil Sean said: “This must be terrifying for Meghan Markle herself because obviously, they’ve got an axe to grind, some may say, but on the other side of the coin, they definitely want to get their side of the story out.

“This particular individual would truly have a remarkable story because, after all, he would have first-hand experience of what it was like, yes what it was like, to be married the first time around to the actress from Suits.”

Queen ‘looking forward’ to meeting Lilibet & ‘will welcome’ Harry & Meg

It comes after Engelson, who is now also remarried, reportedly told a pal Meghan made him feel like “a piece of something stuck to the bottom of her shoe” by the end of their marriage.

Royal biographer Andrew Morton made the claim in his book, Meghan: A Hollywood Princess.

It comes as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex get set to visit the UK for the Queen’s Jubilee next week, where they are expected to make a number of quiet appearances.

Meghan and Harry are bringing the children to the UK for the celebrations – and will likely stay at their Windsor home, Frogmore Cottage.

Her Majesty is said to be looking forward to meeting her great granddaughter Lilibet for the first time and will welcome the family with “open arms”.

The Sussexes are set to be at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Queen on Friday – but the public shouldn’t “expect them at every event.”
