MEGHAN Markle has still not contacted her aunt nearly three months after her uncle died from heart failure, it is reported.

Joseph ‘JJ’ Johnson died on August 27 aged 72 – but his widow Pam said she has received no words of condolences from Meghan.

Meghan has reportedly not reached out to her aunt after the death of her uncle three months ago

Pam said the former Suits actress, 40, has not spoken to her or her uncle since December 2017, when he shared photographs of her with the press, including a previously unseen shot of Meghan as a five-year-old bridesmaid.

The 68-year-old told the Mirror: “We’ve had no words of condolence from Meghan.

“I know that Meghan knows about his passing because her mother, Doria, knows. And she is certain to have told Meghan. There’s no way Meghan doesn’t know.

“Some of my family members are upset that she hasn’t reached out.”

Pam said Joseph would have “loved to have reconciled” with Meghan before he died – and she is still hoping that Meghan will reach out now.

She said: “I understand with her royal status Meghan has a lot going on. But still it hurts not to have heard from her.”

Joseph often spent time with Meghan when she was a child, and his mum Jeanette – Meghan’s grandmother – helped raise her when Doria was busy working.

But Pam, who lives in Fresno in California, said the couple were not invited to Meghan and Prince Harry’s £32million wedding in 2018.

She said: “I’m not sure why she would be angry about the release of such beautiful pictures, which showed a lot of the family.

“I think it’s time for forgiveness – if there’s anything to forgive.”

It comes three days after Meghan appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’ US chat show.

In an hour-long interview, she promoted her children’s book The Bench, and she also took part in comedy pranks – including sucking milk from a baby’s cup in a market.

Family tensions have mounted over Meghan and Harry’s decision to step back from the Royal Family, their move to the United States and their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Harry and Meghan’s chat with Oprah sent shockwaves through the Royal Family when it was broadcast in March this year.

The couple made a series of bombshell allegations, including claims that an unnamed royal had expressed concerns over the colour of baby Archie’s skin.

‘GHOSTED’

Meghan also claimed Buckingham Palace had denied her mental health support, while Harry said Prince Charles had stopped taking his calls after Megxit.

Meghan’s dad, Thomas Markle, has also not spoken to his daughter since the day before her wedding when he pulled out of attending the ceremony after suffering a heart attack.

The 77-year-old retired Hollywood lighting engineer and his daughter have been estranged over claims that he staged photos in return for cash.

Meghan’s dad has never met his son-in-law and he was not invited to Archie’s christening at Windsor Castle.

Thomas also claimed it was “unfortunate” that the Duke of Sussex’s relationship with his father had deteriorated.

During an interview with 60 Minutes, Thomas compared himself to Charles and suggested they had both been “ghosted” by Harry and Meghan.

In another interview, he said his son-in-law had “abandoned everyone”.

Back in June, he revealed he no longer has his daughter’s number and branded his daughter a “liar”, claiming she had “changed” since meeting Prince Harry.

HOAR has contacted Harry and Meghan’s representatives for comment.
