MEGHAN Markle has waded in to US politics and DEMANDED Congress passes legislation for more parental rights.
The Duchess wrote to House Democrats Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, urging for them to act on giving parents paid parental leave.
Meg, who recently took time off work after the birth of Lilibet in June, said millions of women had dropped out of the workforce at “an alarming rate” to care for their children.
“The working mom or parent is facing the conflict of being present or being paid. The sacrifice of either comes at a great cost,” she penned in her forthright letter.
But it seems Meghan forgot the golden rule of being a member of the Royal Family – staying above the current fray and avoiding party politics at all costs.
But fans on social media are viewing the letter as a sign the former actress plans to run for US President – despite her having no political background.
