MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry have taken to social media to share an inspirational quote about kindness.

Posting on their Instagram account, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wished followers a “wonderful week ahead” as they shared the “thoughtful” words of wisdom.

The quote – by Anthony J. D’Angelo – read: “Without a sense of caring, there can be no sense of community.”

The meaningful words come after reports that the royal couple will miss the Queen’s pre-Christmas parties this week.

It’s reported that Meghan and Harry are set to stay out of the UK with babyArchieuntil the new year, with the family thought to be spending Christmas with Meg’s mum, Doria Ragland.

The Daily Mail reports that Harry, 35, and Meghan, 38, will not be at tonight’s Buckingham Palace Christmas bash.

The couple will not be in Sandringham at Christmas

The Queen is also hosting the traditional turkey lunch for extended family on Wednesday.

It’s believed the Sussexes will also miss this, but their absence isn’t a snub and they have told the Queen about their plans, sources told the paper.

One said: “As the couple made clear a few weeks ago, they are taking some time away together as a family.

“This means that they will miss Christmas events.”

The Queen is hosting a number of pre-Christmas parties this week

Last month, it was revealed Harry, Meghan and Archie will not be spending Christmas with the Queen at Sandringham.

A palace spokesperson said: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are looking forward to extended family time towards the end of this month.

“Having spent the last two Christmases at Sandringham, Their Royal Highnesses will spend the holiday this year, as a new family, with the Duchess’ mother Doria Ragland.

“This decision is in line with precedent set previously by other members of the Royal Family, and has the support of Her Majesty The Queen.”
