With the festive holiday season upon us, its also a reminder to reflect on those in need those who may feel lonely, hungry, homeless, or may be experiencing the holidays for the first time without loved ones. Its an important time of year to help those around you who may be less fortunate, or who would appreciate even the smallest act of kindness. Continuing our monthly tradition of highlighting accounts that do good, and inspired by the Twelve Days of Christmas – we have selected twelve organisations caring for those in need – especially at this time of year. There are, thankfully, so many organisations around the world doing good on global and grassroots levels, many of which are not on Instagram. Check out the accounts we have chosen and please share those in your own communities that are making a difference. We would love to hear about the ones that inspire you – so please tell us and add your countrys flag! Images used are from the accounts we are now following.

And after referring to Christmas as the “festive holiday season” many fans think it was Meghan herself who wrote the post.

“With the festive holiday season upon us, its also a reminder to reflect on those in need those who may feel lonely, hungry, homeless, or may be experiencing the holidays for the first time without loved ones,” they wrote.

The couple took to Instagram to wish followers a Happy Thanksgiving

Last week, Prince Harry and Meghan took to Instagram to wish fans a happy Thanksgiving as they celebrated the US holiday during a break from royal duties.

This Thanksgiving is the couples first one as new parents to baby Archie and they are expected to have had a low key day.

It has already been announced the Sussexes will not be spending Christmas Day with the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh at her private Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

The Queen is said to be supportive of Meghan and Harry’s plans and it follows the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s past decision to spend Christmas with Kate’s parents, and not with the Queen.

In other royal news, we told you how the Queen almost caused The Big Bang Theorys Kunal Nayyar to FAINT after actor had panic attack during their meeting.

We also revealed why Kate Middleton wears three rings on her wedding finger.

And we showed you how the Queen banned a documentary showing her buying an ice-cream for Prince Edward with cash from her own purse.
