MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry have taken to Instagram to urge their followers to “reflect on those in need” after announcing they had started following 12 charitable accounts.
Revealing they had been “inspired by the 12 days of Christmas” the Duke and Duchess of Sussex explained they had selected 12 organisations that care for those in need, “especially at this time of year”.
And after referring to Christmas as the “festive holiday season” many fans think it was Meghan herself who wrote the post.
“With the festive holiday season upon us, its also a reminder to reflect on those in need those who may feel lonely, hungry, homeless, or may be experiencing the holidays for the first time without loved ones,” they wrote.
“Its an important time of year to help those around you who may be less fortunate, or who would appreciate even the smallest act of kindness.
“Continuing our monthly tradition of highlighting accounts that do good, and inspired by the ‘Twelve Days of Christmas’ – we have selected twelve organisations caring for those in need – especially at this time of year.

The couple took to Instagram to wish followers a Happy Thanksgiving
Last week, Prince Harry and Meghan took to Instagram to wish fans a happy Thanksgiving as they celebrated the US holiday during a break from royal duties.
This Thanksgiving is the couples first one as new parents to baby Archie and they are expected to have had a low key day.
It has already been announced the Sussexes will not be spending Christmas Day with the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh at her private Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
The Queen is said to be supportive of Meghan and Harry’s plans and it follows the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s past decision to spend Christmas with Kate’s parents, and not with the Queen.
