DESPITE the royal crisis, Meghan Markle is doing just fine, says her mum.

Doria Ragland has insisted that her daughter is “strong” and will make it through Megxit “ok”.

Meghan Markle’s mum Doria Ragland has described her daughter as “strong”

According to People, a source close to the 63-year-old yoga instructor and social worker said she has revealed positive thoughts about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s announcement last week that they are “stepping back” as senior royals.

They reported Doria said: “Meghan is strong and will always be okay.”

Despite living in Los Angeles, she has maintained a close bond with her 38-year-old daughter who relocated to the UK shortly before marrying Prince Harry, 35.

She is understood to have travelled to Canada to spend Christmas with the couple and her only grandson, eight-month-old Archie.

The source added: “She says her grandson is the cutest.”

It comes as Meghan has been spotted out and about on Vancouver Island since news of the royal crisis broke.

Yesterday, she was seen picking up pal Heather Dorak from Victoria International Airport near the 14m mansion where she has been staying with Harry – who is currently in London – and their son for several weeks.

Meghan has been keeping busy in Canada with a series of unofficial visits to women’s charities

Heather was among guests at the royal wedding in 2018 with other half Matt Cohen.

Earlier today, it was revealed Meghan made a subtle outfit change while visiting women’s charities this week.

The duchess kept her look casual in a cream jumper, jeans and brown boots for the unofficial visits on Tuesday.

Meghan wore a gold pendant necklace when she popped by the Downtown Eastside Womens Centres office earlier in the day.

But she swapped this for a second necklace a larger, whale tail design for her second meeting at Justice for Girls.

The reason for the jewellery tweak was later revealed on Instagram with the duchess being gifted the pendant during the visit.
