MEGHAN Markle’s former Suits co-star Patrick J Adams has admitted he is “too intimidated” to contact her now.

Patrick, 39, who played Meghan’s on-screen love interest said that he has “pure fear” over speaking to her now she is the Duchess of Sussex.

Speaking to the Radio Times, Patrick said: “Quite frankly, I think I’m intimidated. I have no doubt I could pick up the phone and call her at any moment, but I don’t know what I would say.

“After our children were born, there were some texts sent and gifts sent, but I guess I’m a little scared. I think it’s pure fear.

“I guess I’m scared about the idea of breaking through whatever walls exist to have that conversation.”

Patrick, who was invited to Meghan and Harry’s royal wedding, said that observing Meghan’s life change from an actress to royalty has been “wild.”

Meghan starred in Suits from 2011-2017 playing the role of paralegal Rachel Zane in the first seven seasons of the show, and left just before her May 2018 wedding.

Patrick said it has been difficult watching her post-Suits life at times, especially as he knows “what is in Meghan’s heart” and how “compassionate” she is.

He added that “you want your friends to be left alone to build their life together.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down as senior royals in March, and are now living in an £11million mansion in Santa Barbara, California, with one-year-old son Archie.

Harry and Meghan have continued to make public announcements on their new life including revealing their multi-million-pound Netflix deal.

The Sussexes have also said they would not be taking any more money from Charles.

Early last month a statement through Buckingham Palace said the Sussexes had made a contribution that covered the necessary renovation costs of Frogmore Cottage.
