SHE might seem like an unlikely fashionista but the Queen has been a style inspiration for as long as she has been on the throne.
From her love of her bright colours and floor-length gowns for public engagements to chic off-duty knits, the 96-year-old monarch has looks for everyone. And clearly celebs agree – with the likes of Jennifer Lopez appearing to mimic Her Majesty’s most memorable looks.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge joined fans outside Buckingham Palace on the Queen’s birthday last month.
And Amanda, 51, clearly loves Her Maj’s style too, judging by the demure floral dress she wore to her Heart radio show in 2019.
It was very similar to one the Queen sported on a state visit to New Zealand in 1977.

In happier times before Megxit, the Duchess of Sussex channelled Her Maj in this skirt suit at Buckingham Palace in 2018.
Meghan, 40, seemed inspired by the monarch’s outfit for a portrait of her and Prince Philip in 1947, just before their wedding.

For a trip out in 2017, Rita, 31, opted for a jacket that is a double for one worn by the Queen on a visit to Turkey in 1971. But she brought the look up to date with an over-the-shoulder bag.
The ex-Spice Girl runs her own fashion firm but clearly still looks to the Queen for tips.
While in New York in 2019, Posh, 48, appeared to be inspired by an off-duty look of green knit and checked skirt worn by Her Majesty at Royal Windsor Horse show in 1987. She even went for the sunglasses accessory.

This classic shift dress Emma, 32, chose for a shopping trip in London in 2016 bears a striking resemblance to one worn by Her Majesty on a state visit to Fiji in 1977 – albeit Emma’s had a shorter hemline.
The Queen might seem far removed from Bond Girl glamour but the silk side-split gown worn by actress Caterina, 44, in 2006 film Casino Royale gives a nod to one of the monarch’s most striking looks.
Her Majesty wore a lookalike dress to London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in 1964.
