PRINCE Andrew could face more bombshell claims as his rape accuser demands secret court documents are released.

The Duke of York has already been told he faces a court battle with Virginia Roberts Giuffre after a judge sensationally rejected his bid to get the case thrown out.

Now her lawyers are demanding court documents from when she sued Ghislaine Maxwell for defamation be released.

The documents relate to information about Prince Andrew’s friends Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein.

Virginia’s lawyer Sigrid McCawley has now written to Judge Lauren Preska to the 2016 court she filed against Maxwell for calling her a liar

“Now that Maxwell’s criminal trial has come and gone, there is little reason to retain protection over the vast swaths of information about Epstein and Maxwell’s sex-trafficking operation that were originally filed under seal in this case,” she said.

Maxwell, 60, is facing dying in prison after being convicted of sex trafficking girls for Epstein to abuse.

The Duke reputation lies in tatters as a result of his friendship with Maxwell, who then introduced him to Epstein, with whom he also had longstanding friendship.

Epstein hanged himself in prison in 2019 aged 66 while facing charges of sex trafficking minors.

In her lawsuit against the Duke, Virginia accuses the pair of trafficking her when she was still a minor for the royal to abuse her.

The material relates to eight anonymous individuals, all named ‘John Doe’ followed by a number to protect their identity.

If Judge Preska agrees to unseal the documents, they could shed new light on the Duke’s dealings with Maxwell and Epstein.

But it is unclear if Andrew is among those identified in court documents.

POTENTIALLY EMBARRASSING

At least two of the men have demanded the documents remain under wraps with one saying association with the case “would cause him annoyance and embarrassment”.

But in her letter to the judge, Ms McCawley argued that a “generalized aversion to embarrassment and negativity” was no reason for the documents to remain sealed.

Virginia, now 38-year-old, claims she was enticed by Maxwell and lured into paedo Epstein’s sick sexual pyramid scheme.

She alleges she was forced to have sex with Andrew on three occasions – in London, New York and on Epstein’s island Little St James.

Her legal team argue she was a “frightened, vulnerable child with no one there to protect her” when she was allegedly abused by Andrew, saying “no person, whether President or Prince, is above the law”.

The royal has repeatedly denied all allegations against him, which includes rape in the first degree, and his attorneys have claimed his accuser has a “tendency to change her story”.
