PRINCE Andrew groped Virginia Roberts and another woman using a Spitting Image puppet of himself, it has been claimed.
The allegations were made in the manuscript of a book by Roberts, who also alleges she was trafficked to the Duke for sex aged 17, that was among court documents unsealed last week by a New York judge.
The 139-page exposé, titled The Billionaire Playboy’s Club, was originally submitted to the court as part of a defamation case brought by Roberts against alleged Epstein madam Ghislaine Maxwell in 2015.
Maxwell is currently awaiting trial on charges of enticement of minors, sex trafficking of children, and perjury over her alleged involvement in Epstein’s crimes.
Both Maxwell and Prince Andrew have strongly denied any wrongdoing.
In the book, Roberts describes how the incident allegedly occurred after Maxwell summoned her to a room in Epstein’s Manhattan mansion during a visit by the prince in April 2001, the Mirror reported.
“Prince Andrew had that notorious cheesy grin slapped over his face, as he looked me up and down like a shiny new car on display and he was about to take it for a test drive,” she wrote.
“Ghislaine led me to the decadent sofa he was lounging on and twirled me around to give him a good look over before sitting me down on his lap.
“It was easy to give them the reaction they desired, all I had to do was pretend to be entertained by their lewd gestures, and when Andrew cupped my breast with a doll made in his image, I only giggled away.”
She also claims that Maxwell then got another young woman, Johanna Sjoberg, to sit on Andrew’s other knee and pose for a picture.
Sjoberg previously described the same incident during a 2016 deposition as part of Roberts’s defamation case.
Speaking under oath, she said: “I sat on Andrew’s lap… they took the puppet’s hands and put it on Virginia’s breast, and so Andrew put his on mine.”
Roberts also alleges that, following the encounter, she was forced to take Andrew to a massage room or “dungeon” for an erotic massage.
She says that, once they arrived in the room, Andrew “disrobed” before indicating “where he wanted me to touch him and how”.
Roberts brought the 2015 defamation suit after Maxwell accused her of lying.
The case was settled in 2017 before it reached trial but, while more than 2000 pages of evidence were released, around 900 court filings remained under seal or redacted.
Roberts had requested the release of some of the documents for use in separate civil lawsuits.
Maxwell fought the release of five documents, totally 94 pages, in particular on the grounds they contained “extremely personal” information, but Judge Loretta Preska last month ruled they should be unsealed.
Representatives of Prince Andrew have been approached for comment.
