Who’s hosting Prince Andrew & the Epstein Scandal Newsnight special?

Emily Maitlis is hosting the show and tweeted that it would be a “no holds barred interview” with “no questions vetted”.

Emily is a British journalist, documentary-maker and newsreader for the BBC.

The 49-year-old is best known for her work on Newsnight.

What will happen on the Prince Andrew & the Epstein Scandal Newsnight special?

In a promo picture for the Newsnight interview, Prince Andrew can be seen sitting across from Emily at Buckingham Palace.

In the interview he will address his relationship with the late Epstein,

It comes after the the Queen’s second son faced accusations by American Virginia Roberts that he had sex with her when she was 17-years-old.

But Andrew has repeatedly denied the accusations which were struck out by a US court.

Prince Andrew has addressed the scandal in a statement released by the palace, saying he met Epstein in 1999.

He added: “At no stage during the limited time I spent with him did I see, witness or suspect any behaviour of the sort that subsequently led to his arrest and conviction.”
