UNDER-FIRE Prince Andrew jetted off on a business trip yesterday to Bangkok.

The Duke of York, 59, has kept a low profile since the hanging death of his billionaire paedophile pal Jeffrey Epstein.

A royal insider said: ‘Youd think Bangkok might be one of the last places the duke would want to be seen’

But eyebrows were raised that he should choose to make one of his few public appearances in the Thai capital, one of the sex capitals of the world.

A royal insider said: The trip was set up some time ago but the timing couldnt be worse.

Youd think Bangkok might be one of the last places the duke would want to be seen.

American Virginia Roberts Giuffrem, 35, has claimed she was made to sleep with Andrew three times when she was 17 and 18 after she fell under Epsteins evil spell.

The prince vehemently denies the claims.

He stood down as Britains trade envoy in 2011 after the Epstein scandal broke.

Epstein was found hanging in his New York jail cell in August while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

Prince Andrew founded his Pitch@Palace initiative in 2014.

It encourages young entrepreneurs and he is in Thailand for a Pitch@Palace ASEAN event.

Buckingham Palace said Andrew was on a working visit looking into business development in the region.
