PRINCE William shared never-before-seen images of Princes Louis and George, and Princess Charlotte, in his documentary A Planet For Us All.

The first episode aired last night, after cameras followed the Duke of Cambridge around for two years, filming his efforts to protect the natural world.

The documentary shared never-before-seen snaps of the Cambridge children

The hour-long programme shared previously unseen images of the Cambridge children, as they enjoyed the great outdoors.

Candid snaps show Prince George, seven, wielding a large spade as he helped dig in a garden, dressed in a green polo shirt with a dinosaur on it.

Princess Charlotte, five, also got her hands dirty outside, as she tipped a flower upside down, ready to plant.

She wore wellies paired with a blue plaid skirt and a matching long-sleeved navy top, with a spade at her feet.

Meanwhile Prince Louis, two, played in the sand on the beach, armed with a blue bucket and some shells, as he crouched down while wearing a long-sleeved striped shirt.

Prince William, 38, also opened up about his children in the documentary, revealing Prince George is like a ‘caged animal’.

He said: “George, particularly, if he’s not outdoors, he’s quite like a caged animal. He needs to get outside.”

And when chatting with pupils from All Saints Catholic Primary School in Liverpool, the Duke admitted his brood were ‘very cheeky’ – as he revealed Kate Middleton is a better dancer than him.

He said: “They’re about as cheeky as each other, they are very cheeky. Charlotte can floss, she can already floss at four.

“You don’t want to see me floss, Catherine can floss, but I can’t – it’s like a really horrible film to watch.”

David Attenborough also appeared in the documentary, A Planet For Us All

The dad-of-three also spent time with the Eco Emeralds environment school group, who helped inspire the Backyard Nature campaign, which encourages children to protect wildlife on their doorstep.

The children and the Duke made a bug hotel, which they aptly called Bugingham Palace.

Prince William chatted about how becoming a father changed his outlook of the natural world, and his desire to protect it.

“They find a bug or they love watching how bees are forming honey.”

In the programme, William admitted that he has “always loved nature” – but fatherhood has given him “a new sense of purpose”.

He said: “Now I have got George, Charlotte and now Louis in my life – your outlook does change.

“You want to hand over to the next generation, the wildlife in a much better condition.”

Over the weekend, Kate and William released a video of their three children gushing over their favourite animals in a video call with Sir David Attenborough to promote the new documentary.
