THE Cambridge children have shown their support for the NHS by joining Brits across the UK clapping in appreciation of the health service.

Princes George and Louis, and Princess Charlotte, were filmed eagerly clapping as part of the nationwide effort at 8pm this evening saluting the nation’s heroes.

The trio were all dressed in blue – matching landmarks lit up in the colour – as they gave a round of applause for workers on the frontline, battling the killer coronavirus.

Celebrities and politicians across the UK filmed themselves taking part in the mass applause, with Amanda Holden, The Beckhams and Boris Johnson among those sharing their support online.

Kate Middleton and Prince William shared the clip of their brood, aged six, four and 23-months-old, to their Kensington Royal Instagram page, where it’s already been viewed nearly two million times.

The post said: “To all the doctors, nurses, carers, GPs, pharmacists, volunteers and other NHS staff working tirelessly to help those affected by #COVID19: thank you.”
